A day in Jaipur!

This is the fort at Amer — the older part of the Jaipur city.

From the top of the fort, you can see this beautiful garden.


Here is a painting on the Jaipur common palace gate.

Here is the details of one of the museums — which, among other things also houses a couple of daggers of damascene steel — but photography was prohibited inside the museum 😦


The Hewa-Mahal — which is just a wall, I understand.


Of course, in the Jantar Mantar, it was nice to see a stereographic projection being called Yantra-Raj — King of instruments/symbols:
