After along time, we got to hear a carnatic concert — by Neyveli Shri Santhanagopalan. He sang, among other things, Ananda Bhairavi, Kalyani, Krishna nee begane and Maithrim Bajatham. A good one!
Also, thanks to a friend, I now have the mp3s of GNB’s Kalyani and Thodi — Sivakameswarim chintaye and Thaamathamaen, which, I was searching for a long time now.
On the whole, a nice week as far as music goes!
