Via Desipundit, I learnt about Gori girl’s missing Thumbs Up, Maggi and Coffy Bite in California DC area. Thumbs Up — surely yes; Coffy Bite — may be yes; may be no; I have to check (since I could get Pan Pasand to distribute for Halloween last year — so, I guess Coffy Bite is possible); but, you surely can get Maggi (Sambhar version — and Chilli tomato ketchup or Priya pickle depending on your taste — to go with it) in Devon street!

Hi - thanks for stopping by my blog! I actually don’t miss Maggi - as I mention in the post, we have a bunch, and you can always find it at any Indian grocery. But I do think it’s a shame that it’s not readily available in *all* American supermarkets. And you can’t find Coffy Bite *anywhere*, despite the fact that every American I’ve given a piece to as said they would buy it all the time. You could make a tonne importing them!
Your blog looks pretty cool, too. I love xkcd, and read the same economics blogs as you do.

Dear GoriGirl,
Nice to see you around. Thanks for the nice words about the blog — sometimes, I do not get the xkcd jokes; but when I do, they are great.
I will check at Devon Street and see if they have got Coffy Bites. But, I do agree — it would be nice if more and more Americal supermarkets stock all these things. We get our daughter Krackjack and Parle-G, for example, both of which she likes a lot (and, sometimes Sunfeast too). But, I have to go to Devon every time to get them though.
