Guru,
Recently a Malayalam book was translated into English, titled ” My life: Autobiography of a Sex worker ” – or similar- and was in news. Could be nominated as an Indian Entry to this list. The author is now working as a social activist and the book was a sensation in Malayalam when it was released.

Dear Jayan,
I liked the idea a lot too; and, yes; we have to make it an international prize and have entries from different languages–I also remember that sometime back the Tamil magazine Kumudam ran a serial titled Oru Nadigaiyin Kadhai (The story of an actress) which would certainly have made it to the list!
