Remember the Uniform uniform code blogpost? I filed it under humour, and thought that it was amusing. Boy, was I wrong! Update: While a commentor in DeLong’s blog quotes Adam Smith on what not to wear, Mark Thoma quotes Thorstein Veblen (and the quote runs into nearly 15 clicks long post). I think it is time for me to quote Gandhi:
