Defence research spin-offs

Today’s Hindu carries an article on some defence research spin-offs which are effective alternatives to CFCs. Of course, the DRDL designed ultra lightweight prosthetics is also well known. But, the spin-off I love the most is the Ready-to-Eat developed by DFRL; here is a (rather old) interview in which the Director of DFRL discusses the transfer of Ready-to-Eat technology to the industry.
