Some distantly related stuff! I saw a documentary of a DNA research with a tie up between an Australian Dr. Spencer Wells and Dr. Pichappan of Madurai Kamaraj U. They show evidence of the early human migration through sea from Africa to India and eventually to Australia. Hence they trace back Dravidian civilization to Africa. They found this gene evidence among some tribes around madurai.
